Scarab with anatomically chiseled details ; it has knot-work on the underside, a characteristic of this period which was influenced by the Hyksos. The green color of such scarabs was crucial for the Egyptians ; it was related to renewal and rejuvenation, while expressing the desire of the deceased of a renaissance in the hereafter. Longitudinal suspension hole.
Steatite initially covered with a green glazed-composition.
