Rare written scaraboid seal

New Kingdom, C. 1552 à 1070 B.C.
 
Rare engraved in hollow scaraboid seal, depicting a sitting monkey  facing a bird. Such a seal was centered on a ring.
 
Red jasper.
Lenght : 1,6 cm ; width : 1,3 cm ; thickness : 0,8 cm.
 
Provenance : previous private collection from the West of France.
